High School Students Introduced to the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts!
Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, held a presentation for students from Sarıyer Kız Anadolu Imam Hatip High School about the details of the department and the profession.
On April 24th, Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, held a presentation for students from Sarıyer Kız Anadolu Imam Hatip High School, where they answered questions about the intricacies of the department and the profession. The kitchens belonging to the department were also introduced to the students.
During the presentations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehtap Çerkez from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts provided information about the department to the students. The students learned about the privileges of studying in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, kitchen activities, events, and gained insights into the field. At the end of the presentations, high school students had the opportunity to ask questions about the university, the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, and the profession, all of which were answered. After the presentation, the students toured the gastronomy kitchens and had the opportunity to observe kitchen practices.
