Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department asst. Prof. Dr. Emre AYKAÇ completed his undergraduate education at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Zile Dinçerler School of Tourism and Hotel Management, Department of Tourism Management and Hotel Management in 2013. In 2014, he started his master's education at Karabuk University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Tourism Management. He graduated in 2016 by successfully defending his master's thesis titled "The Relationship between Organizational Cynicism and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: An Application in Five Star Hotel Businesses".
Following the completion of her master's thesis, she continued her doctorate education at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Social Sciences Institute, Department of Tourism Management in 2017, and in 2021 she completed her doctoral thesis titled "Perception of Organizational Support and the Role of Leader-Member Interaction in the Formation of Attitudes of Kitchen Workers towards the Profession". defended his doctorate.
After his doctorate education, he started his doctorate education at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration for the second time.
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF) Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Instructor Member Emre AYKAÇ shared his thoughts as follows:
“In this journey, where I see science as my mother tongue and teaching as a laboratory process in getting to know myself better; I would like to state that I am extremely happy and hopeful for my new position, which I started at Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Fine Arts, with the hope of universities being smoking stoves and generations running with the torch of ideas in their hands. My goal of sharing my experience, knowledge, and academic knowledge with the students of Istanbul Gelişim University in line with my goal of creating a future rather than a resume will be very satisfying. On this occasion, I would like to express my sincere sympathy to our managers, teachers, those who are a part of Istanbul Gelişim University, those who love their profession, and all our students of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.”
