 An Important Step for University-Industry Collaboration!


Within the scope of university-industry cooperation, Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Deputy Dean asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Doğan and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences asst. Prof. Dr. Nevruz Tatlısu held a meeting with Saadet Gıda's top managers.


Within the scope of university-industry cooperation, Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Deputy Dean and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Doğan and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences asst. Prof. Dr. of Nevruz Tatlısu; Innovative research projects with Saadet Gıda top managers, efforts to create a qualified workforce that will meet the needs of the sector and to ensure its sustainability, etc. held a meeting where the topics were discussed.
 
In this meeting, which is an important step within the scope of university-sector cooperation; To contribute to the mission of our university to create added value for our country with innovative science and technology production, our university's Vice Rector Prof. Dr. It was carried out in Saadet Gıda factory facilities with the directives of Nail Öztaş. In the meeting, the projects that are planned to be realized for the cooperation to be made were emphasized.
 
Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Doğan expressed his thoughts on the meeting with the following words:
 
“We are conducting studies to improve our research capacity, which directly affects university-industry cooperation. We are meeting with sector representatives to produce scientific research projects in cooperation with universities and the sector and to train people with the qualifications required by the sector, with high application and skill. We want to take an active role in the process of creating added value to the sector through the science and technology produced at our university. It is our priority to offer innovative solutions to the problems of the sector with the activities we carry out and plan to carry out in the future. In this context, at the meeting; We talked about sustainable projects that support each other with the university and the industry, based on the win-win rule and providing mutual benefit.”
