High School Students Observed the University Experience On-site

During the visit, students had the opportunity to closely explore the educational environment of the Faculty of Fine Arts. They received information about classrooms, workshops, and practice areas within the faculty and gained insight into university-level educational processes. The event aimed to support students in shaping their career orientations and to raise awareness about university life. At the same time, such engagements are intended to encourage students interested in art and design to consider programs within the Faculty of Fine Arts in their university preferences.

Digital Design Workshop Conducted Under the Coordination of Dr. Çağdaş Topçu

In the workshop led by Dr. Çağdaş Topçu, students were introduced to the fundamental tools used in digital design and were provided with basic knowledge on how to use them. Through hands-on exercises, students gained their first experiences in digital production processes.

Throughout the workshop, the fundamental principles of visual communication design were discussed, along with key considerations in digital production processes. Participating students were actively involved in the design process, engaging in activities aimed at developing their creative thinking skills.

Contribution to Students’ Creative Production Processes

The event aimed to increase students’ interest in digital design and to encourage their participation in creative production processes. It also sought to support high school students in making more informed decisions regarding their academic and professional futures by enabling them to experience the university environment.

Such events organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts at Istanbul Gelisim University are considered an important step in supporting young individuals interested in art and design to pursue fine arts programs and in contributing to the development of skilled professionals in the field.
