Internship Process Flowchart

For students of the Visual Communication Design Department at Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, internship applications and internship report submissions are conducted entirely online. By following the 10 steps below, you can plan your summer internship smoothly, complete your documents, and upload them to the system without issues.

Online Summer Internship Application Steps

  1. Preparation
    Carefully read the IGU Internship Guideline. All steps must be followed in accordance with this document.

  2. Download the Template
    Log in to OBS → Click on Internship Application Form under the "Online Procedures" menu.

  3. Select Internship Type
    Choose either Compulsory or Voluntary internship.

  4. Fill in Company Information
    Enter all required information about the institution and the authorized supervisor accurately.

  5. Calculate Internship Days
    Use the "Calculate Internship Day Count" button to determine your internship period.

  6. Click “Apply”
    Enter the verification code to confirm your application.

  7. Generate Document & Download QR-Coded Form
    Download the QR-coded form, print it out, and have it signed and stamped by the institution.

  8. Upload the Signed Document
    Upload the signed and stamped form in PDF format to OBS → Click Submit.

Internship Report Preparation Steps

  1. Download the Internship Report Template from OBS
    Use only the official template provided in the system. Do not use other formats.

  2. Fill in the Internship Report Completely
    Write daily entries for each workday → Combine into a single PDF file and upload to OBS.

Track Your Application Status

You can monitor every stage of the process in real time via OBS > Application Status tab.
