Ahmet Bikiç, Lecturer at the Department of Visual Communication Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), has been accepted to participate in the IV. International Congress on Management of Organizations with his paper titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence-Supported Visual Communication and Digital Storytelling in the Perception of Digital Leadership: A Conceptual Evaluation from the Perspective of Organizational Communication.” The congress, organized in cooperation with Girne American University, will be held on November 12–14, 2026, at the GAU Spectrum Center in Kyrenia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The main motto of the congress is “Effective Management, Strong Organizations, A Better Future.” The congress will bring together academic studies addressing management and organizational issues from conceptual-theoretical, institutional, inter-institutional interaction and transition, and topical-thematic perspectives.

Artificial intelligence, visual communication, and digital Storytelling

In his paper, Ahmet Bikiç focuses on artificial intelligence-supported visual communication and digital storytelling, which have gained increasing importance in contemporary digital communication environments, and examines their role in the perception of digital leadership from the perspective of organizational communication.

As artificial intelligence-supported technologies become increasingly integrated into visual content production and communication processes, new approaches to visual communication and storytelling are emerging. These developments have also brought new questions regarding how organizations communicate their identities in digital environments and how leadership perceptions are constructed through digital communication practices.

Within this context, Bikiç’s study conceptually discusses the relationship between artificial intelligence-supported visual communication, digital storytelling, and the perception of digital leadership. The paper approaches these issues from an organizational communication perspective and contributes to the interdisciplinary discussion connecting visual communication design with digital media, communication, technology, and leadership studies.

An interdisciplinary academic perspective

The IV. International Congress on Management of Organizations will address studies on management from several perspectives, including conceptual-theoretical, institutional, inter-institutional interaction and transition, and topical-thematic approaches. The congress will also include discussions on leadership styles and models for different generations, including Generations Y, Z, Alpha, and C. The participation of an academic from the field of Visual Communication Design in a congress focusing on management and organizations highlights the interdisciplinary nature of visual communication design. Today, visual communication is closely connected not only with design and aesthetics but also with organizational communication, digital technologies, leadership, and strategic communication processes.

Through his presentation, Ahmet Bikiç will contribute to the academic discussions at the congress by addressing the relationship between artificial intelligence-supported visual communication, digital storytelling, and digital leadership perception within the framework of organizational communication.

The IV. International Congress on Management of Organizations, which will be held on November 12–14, 2026, will bring together researchers from different disciplines to discuss contemporary approaches to management, organizations, and leadership.
