IGU Faculty of Fine Arts Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş’s new book "Aydınlığın Baharı (Spring of Light)" meets readers
Authored by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş, the new book titled "Gece Gündüz Serisi: Aydınlığın Baharı (Night and Day Series: Spring of Light)" has been published by Kitapyurdu Direct Publishing (KDY). Drawing attention with his literary productions alongside his qualified work in the academic and artistic fields, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş solidifies his place in the literary world with the new installment of his fantasy fiction novel series. Comprising a total of 338 pages, the work promises readers a rich literary universe with its immersive plot and in-depth character analyses.
"Night and Day Series" continues with an immersive plot
Bearing the signature of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş, "Night and Day Series: Spring of Light" expands the adventure that began with the series' previous work, "Dawn of Darkness," into a broader universe. Taking shape underground, above ground, and deep within the forest, the story questions the concepts of freedom, mercy, unity, and justice by blending them with fantasy literary elements.
While the struggle for freedom continues at full speed in the work, emerging new alliances and budding enmities lend a dynamic structure to the storyline. Tested on whether mercy makes a difference and placing the search for unity against oppression and cruelty at its center, the study offers the reader a thought-provoking reading experience on both individual and social conflicts.
A successful example of academic and literary productivity
Continuing to contribute works to the culture and art world alongside his administrative and academic duties within the Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) Department of Visual Communication Design (VCD), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş has once again demonstrated his interdisciplinary productivity with this work brought to the fantasy literature genre.
Realized in line with the value Istanbul Gelişim University attaches to art, literature, and academic production, the work succeeded in attracting the attention of literature lovers and academic circles in a short time.
As the Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), we congratulate our Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş on the occasion of his new book titled "Night and Day Series: Spring of Light," and wish him continued success in his literary and academic endeavors.
