An information meeting on graduate education was organized to guide the academic career goals of senior students studying at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) who are approaching graduation. In the event held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 14:00 in classroom number 201 in IGU J Block, Prof. Dr. İzzet Gümüş met with the students.
The main agenda of the meeting consisted of the academic and official steps that students who are about to complete their undergraduate education need to follow for master's and doctoral programs. Prof. Dr. İzzet Gümüş provided comprehensive information to the students about the application requirements for graduate education, the functioning of thesis and non-thesis master's programs, and the contributions of this education to professional business life and academic careers.
During the gathering, which attracted great interest from the students, requirements of critical importance during the application phase, such as ALES, foreign language exams (YDS/YÖKDİL), and interview processes, were also discussed in detail. In the meeting where the specific questions of the students regarding graduate programs and academic staff positions were answered, mutual evaluations regarding their career planning were made.
