IGU has a total of 382 Erasmus+ agreements with 142 universities across 27 European countries. Within this framework, Visual Communication Design students can complete one or two semesters of their academic studies at partner universities abroad. The mobility period is defined as a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months, allowing students to expand their portfolios in an international context.
The learning mobility program aims to provide students with the chance to take courses in different cultural and academic environments, thereby enhancing both their theoretical knowledge and applied design skills. Erasmus experience enriches students’ portfolios, exposes them to creative approaches from diverse cultures, and makes a strong contribution to their career paths after graduation.

General criteria include:
Grade Point Average (GPA): Minimum 2.20/4.00 for associate and undergraduate students.
Student Status: Must be enrolled in formal education and have completed at least the first year of study.
ECTS Requirement: 30 ECTS credits per semester or 60 ECTS credits per academic year.

For Visual Communication Design students, Erasmus+ internship mobility offers the chance to gain professional experience at design agencies, media institutions, creative industries, or technology companies abroad. The internship duration ranges from a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 12 months and is typically scheduled outside of the academic semesters.
Application Requirements:
Acceptance Letter: An official acceptance letter from the host institution.
Application Period: Applications are made for the following academic year.
Post-Graduation Internship: Final-year students may participate in an Erasmus internship within 12 months after graduation.
Language Proficiency: A minimum score of 60 from YDS, YÖKDİL, or an equivalent exam, or participation in the university’s Erasmus+ language exam.
