Asst. Prof. Topçu, with his academic background, sectoral experience, and research interests, is expected to contribute to the department’s educational and scholarly activities. Along with his appointment, he has also assumed the role of Head of the Department of Visual Communication Design.
Officials from the Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts noted that this appointment represents an important step toward achieving the department’s academic goals, emphasizing that efforts to build a strong and qualified academic staff will continue.
The Department of Visual Communication Design offers undergraduate education in creative industries, digital design, new media, and communication-based production. With the expansion of its academic staff, the department is expected to further diversify its research and project development activities.
