 The fourteenth of the Stars in Vision Event series was held with the participation of Erhan Duvan!


The fourteenth event of the Stars in Vision event series organized by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Radio, Television, and Cinema department was held with the participation of Erhan Duvan under the title of Brand and Digital Marketing.

In the event, which was held with the participation of students who took Advertising and New Media and Communication courses, processes such as brand creation, brand management, and the factors that make a successful brand were discussed. Duvan, who has managed the creative content production of international events such as the Global Gastro Economy Summit and the brand management processes of large companies such as Şeker GYO, Skyland Istanbul, Pierre Cardin, and Atlas Halı, explained that digital marketing has become an integral part of contemporary advertising. Talking about his brand journey called RATTAM during the interview, Duvan stated that the best move that can be made after many years in advertising would be to continue with one's brand.
 
Duvan, who has been in advertising for more than ten years, talked about the ecology of advertising agencies and the working conditions in advertising agencies. Emphasizing the importance of creating a brand in the field, Duvan said that most people working in advertising agencies have the desire to create a brand and that he created a brand for this concept based on this desire, which he saw in the field of furniture and home decoration. The relationship between the brand and the advertising agency was mentioned.
 
The moderator of the talk, Ass.t Prof. Dr. Saltik stated that such events are of critical importance in terms of keeping the bond between universities and the sector intact. Saltik pointed out that it is an important necessity to direct the lessons based on the voices heard from the field.
 
Head of department asst. Prof. Dr. Önder Paker also talked about his advertising memories and contributed to the conversation.
 
The talk ended after the students' questions were answered and a plaque was presented.
