Res. Asst. Eda Türkay Participated in a Talk at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School

Res. Asst. Eda Türkay, a research assistant at the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, participated in a talk with students at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School with her short film project Home Cooking, which she produced. Türkay, who attended the screening and subsequent talk with the director of the film, Ahmet Toğaç, answered questions from students.

After answering questions about the film, Res. Asst. Eda Türkay answered questions about the intricacies, difficulties and sectoral position of the production profession, and began her speech by stating that they were very pleased with the students’ interest. Türkay, who stated that he was happy and motivated to spend time with students who started to receive cinema education since high school and who clearly revealed their interest and curiosity in the field with their questions, added that he felt like he had met talented directors and producers of the future and that this feeling was very valuable. He expressed his gratitude to Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School by stating that they also found it important to watch the film together with the target age group of the film.
