Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF) Radio, Television and Cinema Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız Ongar attended the 4th International Mediterranean Fine Arts Symposium & Culture and Art Workshop, hosted by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Manavgat Municipality, with the contributions of Ifarts Organization. His work will be included in the group photography exhibition organized within the scope of the workshop. Asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız Ongar commented on the workshop and the exhibition:
“4. I participated in the International Symposium of Fine Arts in the Mediterranean & Culture and Art Workshop Virtual Exhibition with my photo titled Evenings in Istanbul, taken from Çengelköy. I wanted to reflect the evening sun and the ceremony of the Bosphorus. I would like to thank the symposium and virtual exhibition organizing team and the juries. I hope that the saplings to be planted in the Antalya Manavgat region instead of the burning trees, even if I have a small participation, will continue their lives for many years. It is also valuable that the workshop has such an approach. I would like all my students to both follow the activities in the symposium and visit the online exhibition.”
The workshop, which stands out in terms of social responsibility as the symposium and group exhibition revenues will be used in Antalya/Manavgat fire zones, is held between 27 November – 5 December 2021. For the virtual exhibition that can be visited online, the official website of Ifarts Organization can be visited.
Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız Ongar.
