Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF) Radio, Television and Cinema Department Head of Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Önder Paker participated as Consul Gunther in the Akıncı TV series broadcast on Atv, which tells the difficult struggle of a modern hero whose roots go back to Ottoman history and who protects Istanbul.
TV series and movie sets, which are one of the sectors most affected by the difficult conditions of the pandemic period, continue to work and produce despite all the difficulties, and continue to bring the audience together with TV series and movies. Referring to the care in the sets during this period, Asst. Prof. Dr. Önder Paker commented on the series and the working conditions:
“Akıncı is a successful production in the detective action genre. My role continues in the 19th episode of the series, where I participated as Consul Gunther in the 18th episode. A much more careful work is being done on the set during the pandemic period. In this period, the series can be sustained by making scenes with very few people and shooting in many parts.”
