The final jury for the 2023-2024 Academic Year Summer Term Graduation Project of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Interior Architecture Department took place on September 4, 2024. In the jury, where course coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Adem Özer and Res. Asst. Başak Lale provided critiques, students presented their hotel projects, for which they had completed the interior architectural design.

As part of the project, students first introduced the designed floor plans, which included the fundamental components and units of a hotel project, to the jury members. These floor plans, encompassing spaces for accommodation, dining, entertainment, sports, technical areas, and parking, were unified with a design concept applied throughout the entire space. The students supported their floor plans with detailed section drawings of important axes within the spaces and detailed drawings of the furnishings they had designed for the interiors. The summer school students concluded their presentations with "render" visualizations of their designs. These high-quality renders served as a reference for the jury members, showcasing the students' competence in interior design and programming.
After the enjoyable conclusion of the Interior Architecture Department's 2023-2024 Summer Term Graduation Project jury, the students moved one step closer to graduation. We wish our valued students success in all the projects they will complete as interior architects and extend our thanks to the esteemed department members who participated in the project jury.
