“For me, putting forward original ideas, projects and literature suitable for concretization in my field and stepping into academic life has been a goal and a priority starting from my university years. Of course, the aforementioned creative process can only realize itself in a favorable working environment. Therefore, in this role, which is the first step of my career, the choice of university for me has been the result of a well-thought-out process. Istanbul Gelisim University, the place where I took the first step of the academic career that I dreamed of for many years, and the Department of Interior Architecture; Innovative, idealistic, tolerant education and training approach to different perspectives fills me with hope these days when I step into my profession. In addition to the Interior Architecture education approach, in which science is kept in the foreground, in accordance with international criteria, combining practice with theory at an ideal level, educators who convey this understanding to the interior architects of the future also give important references about the efficiency of the time I will spend in the department and at the university. I am very pleased to walk and create with a team that has proven itself in the field and is eager to produce on this long road ahead of me.”

We wish Res. Asst. Başak Lale success in her new position.
