An inter-university conference called 'Life Unit and Emergency Products Design for Refugees and Disaster Victims' was held at Istanbul Ticaret University, where Yusuf Taner Gültekin was a speaker.
The axis of living units that can provide solutions to the needs of the survivors in disasters such as floods, fire, drought, epidemics, especially earthquakes, which have parallels in many parameters, as well as the problem of shelter, which is one of the problems caused by the intense refugee traffic in our country in recent years and that refugees have to live with. An inter-university workshop program was determined at Istanbul Ticaret University to examine new ideas.
Many experts and academicians presented their ideas and studies on the subject at the conference held on April 11, within the workshop called 'Life Unit for Refugees and Disaster Victims and Design of Emergency Products'. In the conference part of the workshop prepared by Istanbul Ticaret University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Industrial Design, a Lecturer from the Department of Interior Architecture / Interior Architecture and Environmental Design of our university, Yusuf Taner Gültekin took part as a speaker with his study titled 'Mobile accommodation units for immigrants and disaster victims and solutions for disabled people'.
