Interior Architecture








 Departments of Interior Architecture Environmental Design (Tr&Eng) and Interior Architecture Held Orientation Meeting


The meeting, attended by students who have just started their departments and Faculty of Fine Arts, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department Head Zerrin Funda Ürük, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Research Assistants Tuğçe Öztürk, Merve Karadaban and Interior Architecture Research Assistants Başak Lale and Eliz Mutlu, and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department Research Assistant Mustafa Dallı, took place over LMS.


The meeting started with Asst. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Funda Ürük briefly introducing herself and continued with the self-introduction of the Research Assistants. After getting acquainted and offering good wishes for the new term, Zerrin Funda Ürük made an introduction to the departments. In the presentation of the department, information was given about the academic staff, curriculum, objectives, goals and career opportunities of the Departments of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (in English).

In the continuation of the meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Funda Ürük gave information about AQAS, the accreditation certificate of the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design and Interior Architecture Departments. Then, the section titled "Roadmap for Beginners", which covers the general operation of our university and departments, was started in order to provide a roadmap for our new students. In the rest of the presentation, the research assistants of the departments continued to give information about the operation.

Res. Asst. Merve Karadaban gave information about course selection, compulsory elective courses, course syllabuses and the GBS system, and talked about the problems that students may encounter and how they can solve these problems. She then gave information about grading systems, exams and abbreviations such as GANO, ANO, ECTS.

Res. Asst. Tuğçe Öztürk, after giving information about the summer school opportunities and compulsory internships, mentioned the graduation conditions again in articles. Then, detailed information about the academic advisory system and academic advisors, where our students can talk about the problems they encounter during the term, were found.

Res. Asst. Eliz Mutlu gave information about the systems we use at our university in the fourth part of the presentation. The LMS distance education system, which is used as a set of web-based applications created for online education, and GBS, which provides information on many issues with our university, provided information about systems such as OBIS, where students carry out their own transactions and access all information from the university.

Finally, Res. Asst. Başak Lale ended the presentation by talking about how to contact the instructors, how to get student e-mail addresses, which channels to communicate with students, and department web pages.
 
After the presentation in which detailed information was given, the questions that the students wondered were answered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Funda Ürük and her research assistants. Mustafa Dallı, Research Assistant of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) answered the questions of the guest students.

The meeting ended with all the lecturers offering their best wishes for the new term.
