The faculty members of the Interior Architecture Department at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), have started planning the activities for the 2024-2025 Academic Year under the coordination of the Chair of the Interior Architecture Department, Asst. These activities include technical tours, talks, exhibitions, and social responsibility projects. Additionally, the Interior Architecture Department aims to expand its academic staff and keep the curriculum up-to-date.

“We collect the suggestions and feedback of our students regarding education through surveys.” In planning all the events and curriculum updates within the department, the opinions of faculty members and the results of regular surveys conducted among Interior Architecture students are taken into account. The content of the elective courses to be offered in the new term was discussed by the faculty members, and feedback was also gathered through a survey from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students.

Asst. Prof. Gökhan Balcıoğlu, the Chair of the Interior Architecture Department, evaluated the department’s preparations for the new term as follows: “We are very excited as the Interior Architecture Department for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. We have coordinated all the activities and arrangements that will be completed this year with our faculty members and students. Our main goal is to continue being a student-oriented department that follows current trends and combines theoretical knowledge with industry experience. We eagerly await the participation of new students in this interactive environment!”
