IGU Gökçe Uzgören took part in FIRST Lego League Tournaments as a jury
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department (İÇM) Gökçe Uzgören participated in the FIRST Lego League, an international scientific tournament organized by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) in Turkey. took part in the "Innovative Project Jury" within the scope of the Science Heroes Association, which is its pillar.
Enabling children and young people aged 9-16 to see themselves as 'scientists and engineers sensitive to society'; The first of the 16th Istanbul Tournaments of the "Science Heroes Association-Science Heroes Meet" event, which is the Turkish leg of the international scientific tournament called FIRST LEGO League/ FIRST LEGO League, in which more than 40 thousand teams from 98 countries participate, was held on February 1, 2020.
In this year's theme, "City Shaper", unique projects of students who offer solutions to the problems that arise in today's cities were presented. Gökçe Uzgören of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department (İÇM) took part as the "Innovative Project Jury" in the tournament where many schools from Turkey participated as a team.
