Cansın İlayda Çetin shared her views on her article as follows:

“Many of the different art disciplines meet at some intersection in the creative process. Art comes to life in the needs of human beings. Therefore, the formation of these intersections is not surprising for artistic fields. In this work, I tried to reveal the relationship between architecture and ceramic art and the interaction between them, especially through the work of art. Concepts such as indoor and outdoor are mostly accepted as the basic concepts of life. This conceptual framework gains importance when looking at the concepts mentioned from an architectural point of view. Because these concepts are also the basic concepts of architecture. While architecture transforms these concepts into forms, it also creates outdoor spaces for ceramic works. In the light of these, in this study, the works of ceramic and sculpture artist Serap Akarcalı were evaluated in terms of conceptual, basic, style and production, and some interior examples were referred. Later, the methods and processes in the artist's works, the possibilities arising from the nature of ceramic materials, the abstraction of the expressions in his works resulted in the contemporary ceramic art showing how these two art disciplines emerged in the architectural sense.”

We congratulate Cansın İlayda Çetin and wish her continued success.
