Cansın İlayda Çetin Presented Two Different Papers at the International Research-Development and Design Conference

Cansın İlayda Çetin, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Istanbul Gelişim University, at the International Conference on Design, Research and Development 2021, held between December 15 and December 18, 2021, at the “Relationship of Photography-Architectural Symbiosis”. ' and "A Systematic Approach to the Preservation of Architectural Values: IUAV University Campus".
 
The International Research & Development and Design Conference 2021 is an annual conference of the Orclever Research and Science Group. The conference was held online this year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. R&D and design centers, R&D institutes and laboratories, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, scientists, academics, technology start-ups, consultants and corporate professionals attended the conference and included engineering, architecture, planning, design, natural sciences, Various papers were presented in the fields of business administration, economic sciences, social sciences and humanities.
 
Cansın İlayda Çetin shared her feelings and thoughts about the papers as follows:
 
“From the spread of photography today by questioning how the relationship between architecture and photography can be used more effectively; In my first presentation, which aims to discuss how it can be used in terms of architectural perception, evaluation and development, and based on the architecture-photograph symbiosis, I questioned how photography can be used more efficiently for the evaluation and development of architecture. I worked.
 
Secondly, in my study, which aims to emphasize the preservation and use of old buildings that are a part of cultural heritage, I tried to deal with the adaptation of the IUAV (Università Iuav di Venezia) Campus. I carried out this study with a GZTF (Strength, Weakness, Threat, Opportunity) analysis method that will detail the architectural, environmental and technical aspects.”
