Participating from Istanbul Gelisim University were Asst. Prof. Erdem Çağla, Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel, Assoc. Prof. Metin Kuş, Associate Professor Nuri Sezer, Assoc. Prof. Aysun Cançat, Ress. Asst. Dr. Ceren İren, and Res. Asssit. Dilara Mataracı, who all contributed with their unique works. The artists added depth to the exhibition with pieces that merge different cultural perspectives through various techniques and themes. The event aims to strengthen cultural bonds between the two universities through the universal language of art, offering viewers a rich visual experience.
The exhibition has drawn considerable attention in Bulgaria, receiving coverage in the Targovishte press. Renowned Targovishte journalists İsmet Çavuşoğlu and Plamen Padonov visited the exhibition and conducted an interview with Prof. İsmet Çavuşoğlu. In this interview, Prof. Çavuşoğlu highlighted IGU’s dedication to the arts and introduced the artists and their works, promoting both IGU and Turkish art to the Bulgarian public. His interview provided insight into the artists and artworks featured in the exhibition, while also underscoring the significance of this inter-university artistic collaboration.
