Applications for the 31st Ankara International Film Festival Festival Poster Design competition have started.

Purpose of the Competition: The 31st Ankara International Film Festival will be held by the World Mass Communication Research Foundation (DÜNYAKIV) between 4 – 14 June 2020. A poster design competition is organized with the aim of determining the festival poster.
The works that will participate in the competition should ensure that the 31st Ankara International Film Festival is announced to the public and that the public is informed about the festival. The work, which was awarded by the selection committee, is aimed to be used in the promotional posters, other communication works and printed materials of the 31st Ankara International Film Festival.

Participation Conditions:
Among the works that will participate in the competition, the design approved by the selection committee will be selected exactly or adapted to be used in posters, other media works and printed materials to promote and announce the 31st Ankara International Film Festival.
Applications can be made individually, institutionally or as a team.
The poster to participate in the competition must not have participated in any competition or exhibition in the country or abroad before, and must not be published anywhere and must be original. It is required that the images to be used in the work have not been copied from anywhere. Non-original works can be canceled even if selected.

When the works that will participate in the competition are selected, 50×70 cm in size, vertically; in digital environment in CMYK formats and 300 dpi resolution in a format suitable for offset printing technology. The colors obtained with the four-color printing technology should not be exceeded.
In the application, the works must be uploaded in .png format. The long side of the vertical work in 72 dpi RGB and “.png” format should be 1984 pixels and the short side should be 1417 pixels. The file size should not exceed 2048 KB.
Awards:
The participant of the winning poster will be paid 5,000 TL, including VAT or withholding tax, by the festival in return for an invoice or document as a copyright fee.
