 Sector Meetings: Intense Interest in Mobile Technologies Event for Photography and Videography!


Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Communication and Design hosted a new event on March 19, 2024. The event, moderated by Lecturer Ahmet Bikiç, stood out under the title "Sector Meetings: Mobile Technologies in Photography and Videography." The meeting, with Zoom Imports General Manager Jirayr Gamsaragan and Professional Photographer Ali Karatuna as guests, took place at 11:00 in classroom K 601.


The event titled "Sector Meetings: Mobile Technologies in Photography and Videography" attracted intense interest from students of the Department of Communication and Design. Particularly, presentations on innovations in the industry and the impacts of mobile technologies on photography and video intrigued the participants. Two experts shared their experiences and knowledge, imparting industry developments and opportunities to the students.

Throughout the event, information was provided on the role of mobile technologies in photography and video production, current trends in the industry, and future forecasts. Students raised various questions to the speakers, expressing their curiosity about the topics. This interactive environment enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and to draw inspiration for their careers.

Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Communication and Design continues to support students in connecting with the industry and taking more prepared steps into their future careers with the events it has done and will do under the umbrella of "Sector Meetings”.
