Post-Production of “Female Wonder” (Kadın Eli) Documentary Has Been Completed!
Post-production of the documentary "Female Wonder" directed by Ahmet Bikic, a faculty member at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Communication and Design Department, has been completed.
In the documentary, where the entrepreneurship story of women living in Iğdır and pioneers in agricultural activities is handled with great care, the products grown in Iğdır, which has a microclimate feature, are transformed by women entrepreneurs into unique flavors such as dried apricots, jams, pickles and marmalade, contributing to the economy. With the documentary "Female Wonder", which focuses on the life stories of women who aim for economic development in agricultural production, it is aimed to increase the number of women entrepreneurs. The documentary work with women who live in Iğdır and who are pioneers in the production of organic products in agricultural activities, aimed to be a role model especially for women in rural areas, and it was emphasized that women have alternatives in life. The position of women in agricultural structures, their work and their effects in the agricultural structure were discussed. The documentary was shot with the contributions of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade, Tuzluca Hardworking Women's Initiative Production and Business Cooperative and with the support of Istanbul Gelişim University Fine Arts Faculty.

Lecturer Ahmet Bikic expressed his views on the documentary by saying, “I wanted to draw attention to the fact that there will be hope for organic products that come to life in the footsteps of labor, sweat and thousands of years of tradition, as well as for women.” Bikic concluded his words by saying, "I would like to thank my teammates who contributed to our documentary "Female Wonder" and Istanbul Gelisim University Fine Arts Faculty for their support.
