 Lecturer Ahmet Bikiç to Direct 2nd Büyük Taarruz International Short Film Festival, Welcoming Cinema Enthusiasts!


Lecturer Ahmet Bikiç, a faculty member in the Department of Communication and Design at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), will serve as the Festival Director for the 2nd Büyük Taarruz International Short Film Festival, supported by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the General Directorate of Cinema. This festival aims to bring together creative and talented figures from the world of short films, offering captivating experiences to cinema enthusiasts.


The 2nd Büyük Taarruz International Short Film Festival, one of the most significant events in the world of cinema, is organized with the support of Istanbul Gelişim University's (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF). Lecturer Ahmet Bikiç, who has taken on the role of Festival Director, will introduce this captivating event to cinema enthusiasts.

Emerging as a new hope in Afyonkarahisar, the Büyük Taarruz International Short Film Festival is poised to contribute to Anatolia's beautiful adventure with art. Focusing on Turkey's and Anatolia's need for art, the 2nd Büyük Taarruz International Short Film Festival aims to open its doors to art enthusiasts this year. The festival theme has not been specifically determined, encouraging directors to be free in their creations.
With this aim in mind, an organization filled with films from different countries, directors, workshops, screenings, and intriguing discussions has been planned to monitor and chart the collaborative and developmental processes of Turkish cinema with international cinema.
