The Communication and Design Department meeting for the Spring Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year was attended by the academic staff of the department, including Assist. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kasar, Assist. Prof. Dr. Funda Özbucak, Lecturer Ahmet Bikiç, Research Assistant Ayten Bengisu Cansever, and Research Assistant Büşra Kılıç. The meeting commenced with a speech by Assist. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kasar.
Evaluation and New Goals:
Firstly, the meeting evaluated the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The activities, social responsibility projects, workshops, and academic studies conducted in the department were assessed, and new goals were set for the upcoming semester.
Before the start of the Spring Semester of 2023-2024, it was planned to update the syllabi of the courses to be taught by faculty members, increase panel discussions with industry representatives to prepare students for the sector, continue conversation events with guest speakers, and organize more exhibitions featuring student projects. Workshops were also planned to enhance student involvement in practical activities.
The second part of the meeting focused on adhering to class schedules, emphasizing the content of courses, and addressing matters such as attendance.
The meeting successfully concluded after all faculty members shared their wishes and hopes for the new semester. Wishing a productive and successful term for both our department and students in this new period.
