Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş's Book "Day and Night Series: Dawn of Darkness" Takes Its Place on the Shelves

Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) Vice Dean and Faculty Member of the Department of Communication and Design, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş's book "Day and Night Series: Dawn of Darkness" has been released and is now available on the shelves. The cover design of the book was undertaken by Research Assistant Büşra Kılıç from the IGU FFA Department of Communication and Design.

"Day and Night Series: Dawn of Darkness," shaped by the pen of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş, narrates the story of a new war that begins after a short period of peace. The revival of old hostilities, the reignition of hatred, and the determined actions of the night elves against humans create the striking atmosphere of the book.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş's work presents a story where humanity undergoes a critical test in a world where war reaches every corner. As the loyalty of those who handed over their independence to the night elves is tested, the question arises: will the freedom struggle once achieved be repeated? As humanity is forced to deeply engage in war with night elves and power-driven ambitions, the question of which enemy is more dangerous comes to the forefront.

While questioning the power of humanity to come together for the sake of freedom, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savaş's work focuses on the determination of a few brave individuals to confront both their enemies and internal challenges. "Day and Night Series: Dawn of Darkness" offers readers a profound intellectual journey on the threshold of this epic battle that will determine the fate of humanity.

From the Book Introduction:

The brief period of peace had come to an end, and war had resumed in the realm. Old hostilities had surfaced, and the hatred that was thought to be over had rekindled. As night elves, with a determination higher than ever, sought to subjugate humans to finish the job they had left unfinished before, there was no place in the realm untouched by war. The time had come to test who was a friend and who was a foe. Would those who had handed over their independence to the night elves remain loyal? Or would they realize that it was time to rebel against their masters?

Humanity had to fight against two formidable enemies: both the night elves and the deeply ingrained lust for power. The imminent trial would reveal which of these adversaries was more perilous. While the possibility of humanity coming together for the sake of freedom seemed more impossible than ever, it was time for a few resolute individuals to demonstrate their unwavering resolve to fight against both their enemies and themselves. This war would either herald doom or prove to be the battle that affirms humanity's freedom, lasting forever.
