Recently, the Department of Communication and Design applied the "Communication Design Students Satisfaction Survey" to understand the problems, complaints, suggestions, and satisfaction of its students and to plan activities accordingly. The results of the survey, it was revealed that the majority of the students of the Department of Communication and Design had a demand for more connections with the sector and the planning of the events they attended by the names of the sector. In this context, the Department of Communication and Design held a meeting to meet student demands. At the departmental board meeting chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kasar of the Department of Communication and Design, the "Sector Meetings" series of events was planned with Ahmet Bikiç, the owner of Medya Arketip, our external stakeholder, in the 2022-2023 academic year, to ensure cooperation between the academy and the sector.
In the Sector Meetings activities planned within this scope, experts from the sector will be invited in cooperation with Media Archetip, which is the external stakeholder of the Department of Communication and Design, and students will be connected with the sector. It is thought that students who know the sector and business life by reducing the gap between the academy and the sector will provide with both internship and job opportunities this way.
