“Sustainable Awareness on Campus Project” Completed with Its Final Exhibition!
The “Sustainable Awareness on Campus: Social Responsibility Project,” organized within the Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), was successfully completed with its final exhibition held between June 1–12, 2026.
In line with its academic vision that supports social and environmental awareness, Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) has signed off on another meaningful project. The “Sustainable Awareness on Campus: Social Responsibility Project” came to a successful conclusion with the final exhibition held on campus between June 1–12, 2026.
In this social responsibility project led by Res. Asst. Dr. Ayten Bengisu Cansever Bayhan, fellow Faculty of Fine Arts research assistants Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı and Res. Asst. Okan Kırbacı served as researchers. Within the scope of the project, original works produced with great creativity by students—based on themes of environmental consciousness and sustainability—were presented to visitors in the campus environment.
Aiming to create urban and environmental awareness by utilizing the unifying and transformative power of art and design, the exhibition was followed with great interest by both students and academic staff.
Following the successful completion of the project, the faculty administration congratulated all the participating researching academics and students who supported the vision of a sustainable future through their artistic endeavors. The administration also expressed its gratitude to everyone involved for their valuable contributions to fostering environmental awareness.
