 The Process is a Quarter Finalist at Student World Impact Film Festival!


The short film 'Process' directed by Berk Köse, a student of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Radio, Television and Cinema Department, was selected in Lift-Off, First Time Filmmaker Sessions and Student World Impact Film Festival. Now isA a quarter-finalist at the Student World Impact Film Festival.


The process film crew, which has made mention of their success before, became a quarter-finalist this time at the Student World Impact Film Festival. It is known that a screenwriter, who achieved many successes at an early age, had difficulties in production and the disconnection between him and reality during the writing process was told, and the film crew, whose festival process is still continuing, consists of students from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. The screenplay was written by Berk Köse and Ferit Doğan, and the director was Berk Köse, and the producer was Berk Köse, Beyza Sude Yüksel, Buğra Cihan Çakır, Ferit Doğan, İsmail Akbal, and Senanur Sevim. The cinematographer was Buğra Cihan Çakır, and the art direction was Ferit Doğan. The film featured names such as Ferit Doğan, Beyza Sude Yüksel, Mekan Orazov, Uğur Berat Kaya and İsmail Akbal.

Continuing on the Road to Finalist

The director of the movie, Berk Köse, stated that the movie "Process" is a great job for both the team and himself, that they approached the project with this perspective from the very beginning, and that their desire and hope is in this direction. He stated that their motivation increased with the positive reactions received, and that this increase in motivation excited the team about the festival process. Emphasizing that they had the chance to represent the film abroad with the two online selections they obtained in the first weeks, Köse said that they spent the short silent period they spent focusing on their other project, Past, Future, Now. Underlining that it was a pleasure to receive a selection from SWIFF with the movie "Process", Köse said that despite reaching the quarter-finals, they were eagerly waiting to reach the semi-finals and have the chance to be screened. and Global Impact Grand Prize to Promote Diversity and Culture.
