A new head of department has been appointed at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Radio, Television and Cinema Department. Emre Doğan became the head of the department and Rabiya Saltik became the deputy head of the department.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan, who completed his undergraduate education at Ege University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, TV and Cinema, and his master's and doctorate education at Dokuz Eylül University, Fine Arts Institute, Film Design program, makes a name for himself with his academic and sectoral studies. Doğan, who will be the department minister in the 2022-2023 academic year, has scientific publications on many different subjects. Doğan, who will enrich his academic depth with administrative experience, is expected to undertake many different studies for the Radio, Television and Cinema Department in the coming years.
“A Proud Experience”
Doğan, who assumed the chair of the department as an administrative task in addition to his academic duty, stated that it was a proud experience to be the department head of the "eminent department" of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Doğan, who has been working meticulously since the first moment he took the position of department chair, which he described as an opportunity and privilege, said, “The creative perspective we will put forth, the artistic and academic activities we will carry out, the achievements we will achieve and the path we will take will accelerate the professional and mental development of the students and academics of this department and It will enable us to live each new day more competently and wisely than the previous day.”
