Colorful End in the Social Responsibility Project!
Sustainability themed “The Spaces Are Colorful With Children" social responsibility project has come to an end. The exhibition, the last stage of the project, was opened to visitors at Gelisim Tower.
The exhibition of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Interior Architecture & Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (TR & ENG) Departments and in cooperation with Private Seyrantepe Masal Agaci Kindergarten, “Sustainability Themed Color and Painting Event Exhibition with Kindergarten Students” was held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 between 14.00-15.00 at the K Block (Gelisim Tower) on the 14th floor of the interior architecture departments design studio. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Savas, Asst. Prof. Dr. Parvin Heidari, Lecturer Dr. H. Özlem Yesildal, Lecturer Minel Kurtulus, Lecturer Esra Büyükemir Karagoz, Lecturer Cigdem Gok and Lecturer Taner Gultekin and about thirty students attended the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition, which was prepared with the message “The spaces are colorful with children”, was created by the children on A4 paper with the outdoor space paintings from the 5-6 age group students from Private Seyrantepe Masal Agaci Kindergarten in Kagithane District of Istanbul within the scope of the social responsibility project.
"We Left Behind a Very Enjoyable and Meaningful Process"
The exhibition started with the opening speech of Lecturer Minel Kurtulus, Vice President of the Department of Interior Architecture. Stating that they have left behind a very enjoyable and meaningful process with the kindergarten students, Kurtulus expressed her happiness because of the fact that the pleasant drawings that occur in the activities carried out with children during the social responsibility project were made permanently with such an exhibition.
For Responsive, Conscious and High Environmental Awareness for Generations
Lecturer Esra Büyükemir Karagoz, Vice President of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, one of the executives of the social responsibility project, conveyed her thanks to Masal Agaci Kindergerten and the lecturer of the project for their efforts and supports to raise more responsive, more conscious, more sustainable and environmental awareness children in every field.
