HEAD OF DEPARTMENT'S MESSAGE

Dear students,

Since its foundation, Istanbul Gelisim University, Department of Interior Architecture, which is a design and aesthetic department, continues its educational activities together with its expert academic staff and innovative and professional education system. Today, as Department of Interior Architecture, we are very happy and proud of our achievement in education and I would like to express that we will continue to carry out our works with the same determination in order to sustain this achievement.

From the first day when our students begin with their education in our program, we teach them the professional cultural and social knowledge, and we aim to train interior architects who can produce original designs efficiently by transferring this information to their professional lives in the most accurate and effective way. In addition, we believe that education does not only consist of professional training, but it is also a duty for us to provide our students with the necessary human characteristics. Our goal in this sense is to ensure that each one of our graduates have the libertarian, intellectual, creative and original ideas to be productive, sensitive to the society and environment, with high social responsibility, moral and common sense, and being individuals who are aware of the requirements of the values ​​and principles of contemporary world art. We try to reach our goals with our expert academic staff, rich course contents, practice centers, guest lecturers, study opportunities abroad, workshops, extracurricular trainings and various other activities.

With the awareness of being a part of Istanbul Gelisim University, we offer an educational system which is always open to innovation and development, and we want our students to be the most effective parts in this system. This willingness always carries us forward, and makes us one of the most respected and distinguished and most preferred educational institutions in Turkey. These achievements are never enough for us and we will always be one of the most respected universities in the world by keeping our goals high, and we will continue to train the most successful students and architects of the world.
