2023-2024 Academic Year Spring Semester Interior Architecture Department meeting was held with the participation of full-time faculty members of the department, Asst. Prof . Dr. Amil Faruk GEZEN, Lecturer Minel KURTULUŞ, Lecturer Büşra BABACAN, Lecturer Muhammed Said ERDEMONAR, Res. Asst. Başak LALE, Res. Asst. Eliz MUTLU TEKAY. The meeting started with the speech of Asst. Prof . Dr. Adem ÖZER. At the meeting, the first evaluation of the 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Semester was made. At the meeting where activities carried out in the department, social responsibility projects, student/faculty exhibitions, and academic studies were evaluated, targets for the new term were determined.
Before the start of the 2023-2024 Spring Semester, it was planned to update the syllabus of the courses to be taught by faculty members, to increase the number of interview events in which sector representatives will be hosted to prepare students for the sector, and to continue it in the spring semester, to increase the exhibitions in which student projects will be included, and to organize workshops to increase the activities of students in the field of application.
The second part of the meeting, was held in the 2023-2024 Fall Semester and was conducted by The furniture projects produced in the IMI333 Furniture III were conducted by Lecturer Büşra Babacan. Details of the Furniture Exhibition dated 13-24 March 2024, where the lighting projects produced in the IMI358 Interior Textiles course by Lecturer Tarık Babayiğit will be exhibited, were discussed and plans were made to eliminate the deficiencies.
"Architectural Materials and Transport Workshop" planned under the supervision of Asst. Prof . Dr. Amil Faruk Gezen; "Architectural Floor Plan Painting Workshop" to be conducted by Lecturer Minel Kurtuluş and Lecturer. Evaluations were made on the needs of the "Digital Mood Board Workshop on Architectural Interiors" planned under the direction of Lecturer Büşra Babacan.
The meeting ended after all faculty members shared their wishes and wishes for the new term.
