Organized by Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts and held every Tuesday throughout December, the first part of the 'Short and Thoughtful' event will be held with the participation of 'Short and Thoughtful' director Kerem Altın and Director Ömer Ferhat Özmen. The event, which started with the screening of director Kerem Altın's 'Open' and Director Ömer Ferhat Özmen's 'Crow's Wearing Beak', discussed issues such as layered sub-text construction, layered emotion/situation construction, short film-long film relationship in short film production. receipt.
At the event, director Kerem Altın and director Ömer Ferhat Özmen gave information about the cinema industry and offered some tips. Director Kerem Altın emphasizes the benefit of creating simple or complex mise-en-scènes frequently and constantly shooting something with evolution, while director Ömer Ferhat Özmen encourages students who want to shoot short films to benefit from the Ministry of Culture and other funds; He emphasized that he should use the opportunities provided by the school during the education period and the advantage of forming a team easily from his fellow students.
Particularly, the students of the Radio, Television, and Cinema departments and Communication Design students showed great interest in the event, followed by a question-answer session.
At the end of the event, Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Department asst. Prof. Dr. Önder Paker presented plaques to Kerem Altın and Ömer Ferhat Özmen.
