Atakan Berkay Güler, a 4th grade student in Radio, Television and Cinema, was the first student to complete the video work for the project "Come and See Istanbul", which is under the direction of Asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız Ongar. The Istanbul video, which Atakan Berkay Güler included within the scope of his work series titled "My World", will also take place in the screenings of the "Come and See Istanbul" project.
“I WALKED 11 MILES ON THE DAY OF SHOOTING”
Atakan Berkay Güler, who aims to show the known places in Turkey from unknown angles in the highest way with the "My World" project, combined the content of his own project with the content of the "Come and See Istanbul" project, and included Istanbul in the third part of his project:
“First of all, I have to say that My World series was one of my biggest dreams. The part of this series that I liked and had the most difficulty was the Istanbul part. During the pandemic period, I had to be in crowded environments and I walked exactly 11 miles on the day of shooting. With great pleasure, I can say that I turned Istanbul upside down. The fruit of this challenge was that I signed a very successful business. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I do. Thanks for watching."
“I AM PROUD OF HIS SUPERIORITY OF LAST PERIOD TECHNOLOGIES”
Stating that the works for the project continue without slowing down and will gain momentum in the near future, Asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız Ongar stated that she was very pleased with the interest of the students. Pointing out the new technologies and dynamic structure used in the shootings for Atakan Berkay Güler's work, Ongar said that the students who follow the technological developments will not have any difficulties in the sector when they graduate:
“Atakan Berkay was our student who produced the first video within the scope of the project. I think he displayed an exemplary attitude with his understanding of the project, his interest and the work he produced. Frankly, I came across the latest technologies he used in his video work for the first time in a student project. I am proud of its dynamic setup, coloring, and command of the latest technologies. It should be noted that following the technical developments in the cinema and the media sector will take the students one step further. Atakan's work is an example of this. We will be pleased to display and promote it as part of our project.”
