 TAYF Film Festival Pre-Jury Evaluation Process Completed!


The preliminary jury evaluation process of the TAYF Short Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), has been completed. The preliminary jury team, which evaluated the 3227 applicant films, a meeting chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan, the main jury determined the films that were considered.

Academician Ayten Bengisu Cansever, director-writer Biriz Öztüzemen, director Burak Demirkol, academician Büşra Kamacıoğlu, journalist-art critic Deniz Ali Tatar, academician Eda Çekemci, assistant director-translator Erdem Doğan, director Furkan Yazgeç, academician Hakan Aşkan, writer Işıl Gündoğdu, The preliminary jury team consisting of director Kerem Yükseloğlu, academician Mustafa Dallı, academician Okan Kırbacı, academician-director Ömür Kınay Alkan, academician Özcan Demir, and academician Zuhal Akmeşe evaluated the 3227 films that applied.
 
In the festival, the finalist films in the categories of animation, documentary, experimental, and fiction were determined as a result of the preliminary jury evaluation. The finalist films were determined as a result of the preliminary jury meeting chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan is as follows:

After the evaluation of the finalist films by the festival jury, the first three films to be awarded will be announced at the award ceremony to be held on the night of February 27.
