Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF) Radio, Television and Cinema Department Res. Asst. Eda ÇEKEMCI and Res. Asst. Okan KIRBACI attended the webinar titled "Production and Export of Films and TV Series During the Pandemic" organized by the UNESCO Turkish National Commission.


On Tuesday, May 11, between 11.30-13.30, the webinar was organized by the UNESCO Turkish National Commission on the Zoom platform with the name of "Production and Export of Films and Series in the Pandemic Process", moderated by UNESCO Turkey National Commission Specialization Committee Member and Deputy Director of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Cinema General Directorate Selçuk YAVUZKANAT. 
 
It started with the opening speech of Deniz BAYRAKDAR. After the opening speech, Selçuk YAVUZKANAT gave descriptive and comparative information about Turkey's current position in Film and TV Series Production and Export.
 
Television and Cinema Film Producers Professional Association (TESİYAP) Secretary General and Producer Atty. Burhan GÜN, from the beginning of the pandemic process on the sets of movies and TV series,
TRT 1's Channel Coordinator Cemil YAVUZ, from TRT 1's TV series project development, production process and plateau studies during the pandemic period,
Pelin MAVILI, Netflix's Director of Public Policy, said of the post-pandemic opportunities in the export of TV series and movies,
Intermedia President and COO Ahmet ZİYALAR, from his work on TV series and film export and the problems of the sector,
Professor at Boğaziçi University, Department of History. Dr. Arzu ÖZTÜRKMEN talked about Turkish folklore and storytelling tradition in the TV series and film industry.
