Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Radio, Television, and Cinema Department continues to bring together students and names from the sector with various activities. The department, which hosted many names in our university with its cultural and art events and in-class events, as well as its event series such as Stars in Vision, Short And…, this time hosted Buket Kahraman, manager, and newscaster Gülgün Feynman.
Manager Buket Kahraman shared her career journey with the students at the event titled "Management in Cinema and Television", which was held within the scope of practice lessons of asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız Ongar. Talking about the difference in management in cinema and television, Kahraman advised students who want to progress in this field. While the interview was taking place, the students of the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema filmed simultaneously to record the conversation. Thus, within the scope of the course, which has both a theoretical and a practical function, the students had the opportunity to direct their questions to Buket Kahraman.
The event titled News and Presentation Techniques organized within the scope of the course was held simultaneously with the interview shooting with the participation of news anchor Gülgün Feynman. After sharing her career journey, Gülgün Feynman shared her valuable knowledge and experience on news and presentation techniques with the students. Feynman, who also gave career advice to students, drew a road map with what he told those who wanted to be in front of the camera. The event ended after the students' questions were answered.
