As part of its efforts to strengthen relations with external stakeholders, the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema (RTC) at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), hosted an important meeting. The session between the department and the Apart Sanat Association focused on opportunities for co-production and collaboration.
The meeting was attended by Rıfat Özçöllü, representing the Apart Sanat Association, and from the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, Department Head Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan, along with faculty members Res. Asst. Dr. Eda Türkay and Res. Asst. Okan Kırbacı. During the meeting, a mutual agreement was reached on various topics to support cultural and artistic production between the two institutions.
In line with the decisions made, both parties agreed to collaborate on future projects, including the organization of joint events, providing jury support for the "Hasat Zamanı" (Harvest Time) Short Film Festival, and the preparation of a joint journal issue.
This meeting aims to establish a sustainable foundation for cooperation between academia and civil art initiatives, while creating new production opportunities for students.
