The short film project Beni Bağrına Bas, directed and written by Onur Karakuş, a senior student at the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema (RTC), won the honorable mention award in the Samsung Galaxy Ultra Short Film Competition.
Karakuş applied to the competition with his short film project Kuru Gürültü (Dry Noise), based on a story by Melek Çetinkaya, a graduate student at RTC. In addition, he received training from screenwriter Gülse Birsel. Following Birsel's instructions, he completed the filming of the project Beni Bağrına Bas project using the equipment provided by Samsung Turkey. Melek Çetinkaya was the scriptwriter and art director of the project, and also acted in it. Gizem Sabahat Kaplan, one of the students of the department, gave life to another character in the project, and Mert Hakan took part in the lighting and transportation team.
