Graduation Projects Under Evaluation!
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Radio, Television and Cinema Department 4th grade students delivered their first graduation projects. After the delivery, the faculty members of the department held the first evaluation meeting and shared the decision of the board of directors with the students.
The fourth-year Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema students made the first deliveries of their graduation projects, which they started to prepare for in the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.
Working on the synopsis, treatment, and director's opinion texts together with their consultants, the teams, who brought the script to the final version, completed their shooting using the equipment in the Faculty of Fine Arts inventory. Projects completed with the efforts of individuals or teams of a maximum of five people appeared before the jury. The jury meeting, formed by the department's faculty members, took place online. The jury members, who had watched the projects of the teams before the meeting, determined the projects that needed to be revised by stating their comments for each project. The deadline for the projects to be revised is 25 June.
The Continuation of the Journey at Festivals
Head of department asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan, deputy head of department asst. Prof. Dr. Rabiya Saltik, department academics asst. Prof. Dr. Önder Paker, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kemal Çipe, Lecturer Kerem Yükseloğlu, Res. Asst.Okan Kırbacı and Res. Asst. Eda Çekemci attended the meeting, and revision decisions were made to carry out a better version so that the projects could take place in the festivals and be shared with students. After the second submission, it was decided to make a general grading of the student's graduation projects.
At the meeting, it was decided to support the successful projects on their festival journeys. The Festival Team, which consists of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts and supports the project teams during the festival processes, will also guide the teams who have completed their graduation projects on the process.
Head of the department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan also congratulated the students who spent the time given to prepare the projects efficiently since the fall semester and completed the process by keeping in touch with their advisors.
