Film Design Club, established within Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, under the consultancy of Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan started its activities.

The aim of the Film Design Club, which started its activities in the new period within the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, under the consultancy of Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan is to approach cinema holistically and organize screenings, interviews, movie nights, and events. To contribute to the cinematic development of member students and to find a common ground based on cinema. To ensure the interaction, mutual learning, and development of students from within and outside the department. In addition, we aim to create a university youth spirit in our school with the activities to be held and to transfer the in-club culture as a tradition to new students who will take over the club in the coming years. To continue various activities within the club, which are currently ongoing through the department and common stakeholders, and to offer member students the opportunity to gain a strong network from within and outside the sector.

Hilal Tatar is the president of the club, Ahmet Tevhid Kuzu is the vice president, Oğuzhan Işık is the treasurer, Bedia Zerin Hökenek is the secretary, Sümeyye Özyurt is the chairman of the board of directors, Deniz Doğan, Hiranur Gültekin and Çağatay Türkmen are the supervisory board.

The mission of the Film Design Club is to establish a structure where cinema is considered as a whole, where each stage is examined in detail, where the light of cinema that has enlightened the world from its early years to the present is shared, and to build a bridge to this structure with new productions. Moving forward by learning, producing, and growing together creates a continuity-based process where creativity is at the forefront.

The vision of the club is to consider cinema as a whole, to learn by examining each part of it one by one, to combine many activities carried out as departments at the school in a single structure, to become a more social and open club by adding new ones to these activities, to create traditions within the club and continue to exist in the following years. Our goals include building an organization that will continue to be successful and organizing various events with the support received from the common stakeholders of our school and department.

In the new period, the film screenings, interviews, and events currently ongoing in the department will continue. Cinema nights will be organized. As a club, we will participate in the Andy Warhol exhibition. A film festival called 'Harvest Time' will be held at the end of the year.
