Asst. Prof. Rabiya Saltik Duvan is serving as an academic jury member at the fifth edition of the Haliç Goldenhorn International Film Festival. The festival aims to support the development of Turkish cinema, enhance its international visibility, and contribute to bringing high-quality productions to Turkey. Organized by the Fotofilm Culture and Art Association and the Ansam Culture Association, the festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as well as local municipalities.
The festival includes five competition categories: feature film, feature documentary, short film, short documentary, and experimental short film. Bringing together productions from around the world, the event brings the excitement of global cinema to Istanbul.
For this year’s festival—held between 10–12 December 2025—hundreds of submissions from both Turkey and abroad were evaluated, and the finalists were recently announced based on jury voting.
Asst. Prof. Rabiya Saltik Duvan is part of the academic jury for the feature film category, contributing her expertise to the selection and evaluation process.
