The "Kısa/ca Film" program, which airs every Saturday at 12:45 PM on Ulusal Kanal, aims to bring visibility to short film productions and bridge the gap between directors and audiences. The approximately 50-minute program is hosted by Pınar Alkan, featuring film critic and director Cengis Asiltürk as the expert guest. Each week, one or two short films are presented to the audience, followed by interviews with the directors regarding their production processes, narrative choices, and the significance of short films in the world of cinema.
Asst. Prof. Ali Kemal Çipe, who was the guest for the 14th episode of the 16 episodes aired to date, shared his experiences in short film production while evaluating his own cinematic approach and the possibilities within independent filmmaking. During the program, the director's short film was screened for the audience, followed by a detailed discussion about the work.
By continuing to bring together directors producing in the short film field and new films with the audience, the program aims to contribute to the expansion of short film culture in Türkiye.
