 10th International Uşak Short Film Festival was Held with the Support of FFA!


The 10th International Uşak Short Film Festival took place, where Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan, Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), is a member of the board of directors.


The 10th International Uşak Short Film Festival was held between 13-19 December, in partnership with Uşak University, Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Fine Arts, apart Art Association and Kadıköy Municipality. Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan, Head of the Radio, Television and Cinema Department, took part in the festival's board of directors. Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan coordinated the Istanbul leg of the festival, which was screened in Uşak on 13-16 December and in Istanbul, Kadıköy on 17-19 December.

The festival, organized by the Apart Art Association, the external partner of the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department, was supported by Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Fine Arts in terms of transportation, team, and equipment.

Students of the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema had previously taken part in the International Short Film, Video, and Photography Symposium, which was organized with the support of the department. Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan, who cares about students taking part in international events, also worked with students at the 10th International Uşak Short Film Festival.

Department students at the festival, Ahmet Serkan Aldüz, Ahmet Tevhid Kuzu, Arda Yeniköylüoğlu, Bedia Zerin Hökenek, Beyza Yücel, Buse Namlı, Deniz Doğan, Eda Nur Canci, Esra Bozoklu, Feymenur Yılmaz, Hamid Abduljabbar Abdulkareem Shaaf, Hilal Tatar, İlayda Bolat, İlayda Sağlam, İrem Kaya, İrem Kol, Muhammed Emir Akarslan, Melis Çevik, Oğuzhan Işık, Orhan Kerem Kartal, Volkan İlhan, Yaren Safa and Sümeyye Özyurt took part.
