About 2022-2023 Spring Semester Pedagogical Formation Education (Students Continuing Education)
Necessary studies have been carried out by our University in line with the articles on "Pedagogical Formation Education" received from the Council of Higher Education, and the steps to be followed in this process and the points to be considered are given below. (The relevant YÖK letter and the Board decision of the Ministry of Education Board of Education and Discipline No. 9 dated 20/02/2014)
In the spring term of the 2022-2023 academic year, pedagogical formation training will be possible (except for the faculties that train teachers, which are included in the annex of the "Teaching Fields, Assignment and Lecture Principles" of the Ministry of National Education Board of Education and Discipline dated 20/02/2014 and numbered 9. Online applications will be received from fourth and sixth semester and senior year students in formal education programs (departments that are among the fields where formation education can be taken). Pedagogical Formation Training is optional, application is not mandatory.
In order to take the pedagogical formation elective courses, the relevant courses must be selected on the OBIS during the course registration dates.
The credits (40 ECTS) of the courses taken within the scope of pedagogical formation are not included in the 240 ECTS required for graduation from the program in which the student is registered. However, the pedagogical formation courses taken will be shown in the transcripts of the students and these courses will be included in the graduation averages. Apart from the PF courses, students must also complete the compulsory and elective courses required by the program they are enrolled in.
