Interior Architecture Club is Ready for the New Term!

 
The management board and members of the Interior Architecture Club, which is the student club of the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department, Interior Architecture Department, and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) departments at Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Fine Arts, have been updated. The president of the club, aiming to continue its activities rapidly in the new term, has been determined as Tuğçe Demir, a 3rd-year Interior Architecture student.
 
The general purpose of student clubs is to assist students in their extracurricular social, cultural, artistic, and personal development. Through the activities organized within the clubs, students enhance their organizational skills, communication, and teamwork abilities, learn about every stage of project management by experiencing it, and expand their networks of communication. Throughout their academic journey, students collaborate with various companies through the events they organize, taking the first steps for their future.
 
The Interior Architecture Club started its activities in December 2019 as a result of the efforts of students from the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department at Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Fine Arts, under the coordination of Asst. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Funda Ürük, the department chair, and within the framework of the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports. As of the Fall Semester of 2021, the new executives of the club are as follows:

The president of the club, Tuğçe Demir, a 3rd-year Interior Architecture and Environmental Design student, expressed her views as follows:
 
"As the Interior Architecture Club, our goal is to facilitate easier adaptation to professional life by organizing events and programs with our members. Additionally, we plan to organize symposiums and trips within the available resources. An immediate example of this could be facilitating knowledge exchange with our alumni. I believe that we will achieve great success together through collaborative efforts."
